I only use it to keep water or tea cold and it does, as advertised. The lid works great when hiking.

I now have 3 Takeya insulated water bottles. I have 2 - 24oz and 1 - 32oz that I love and use all the time. The cover is the best. I have a another brand that I bought first and I don't care for them as much as I do the Takeya.

I have a 40oz and it's amazing.. I truly love how it keeps my wayer cold for hours no should I say for days. I put ice in my bottle and it's still the same ice in my bottle. Pretty amazing u can't beat that at all... I recommend this for everyone...

I was extremely bad at getting my recommended daily water intake until I got this bottle. Since I got the 32 ounce, I just need to refill it once to get 8 glasses of water a day. The loop handle makes it very convenient for travel and the silicone bumper is nice to have as I tend to be careless with the bottle during workouts.
