Size really does matter

Bottle looks wonderful, but it does not fit securely in the cup holder in my car even without the bumper. I'm so disappointed! I wish there had been an accurate way to measure the cup holder before I ordered.

I bought the 24-ounce bottle in Midnight awhile ago. I thought it was great, and I loved the straw lid. It was perfect for workouts and travel. The straw lets you drink without having to tip your head back. My only reservation was that the bottle was too large around to fit into my car's cup holders. But just last week I realized that the bumper at the bottom of the bottle was removable! (I clearly didn't read the website exhaustively!) Now I just stash the bumper and put the bottle in the holder--it fits perfectly. Now I'm 100 percent happy with the Takeya and would give it more than 5 stars!

This is the 6th Contigo product we’ve bought. The insulated water bottles are the absolute best at keeping drinks cold. This time we were upgrading our son’s 14oz with something bigger, and he likes the straw lid, and it’s perfect. Not as heavy as our 40oz, so easy to carry to school.

Keeps water cold and flip top straw feature is convenient ( no need to screw top on/ off).
Comes with a rubber coaster which protects the bottom of the bottle from getting dings.
