I love these. I am never found anywhere without one. And I’m reading about smells. I drink protein drinks in these bottles every single day. Protein will stink. Soak the lid-rings and all, in denture cleaner. If the bottle should happen to start smelling and a simple wash doesn’t fix it, fill the bottle with hot tap water and drop in a denture tablet. Problem solved. You’re welcome.

Bottle is well designed. The best part is the drinking spout that twists open independently from the entire bottle opening. That drinking spout isn't exposed to the outside so it feels a lot cleaner drinking from it also. I only use this bottle for water, so I can't comment on smell/taste retention from a previous beverage.

I love my Bottle the color is so vibrant! I will say it’s not the color on the picture because the mint I have Is a true mint green while the picture is more sage green.
I haven’t tried it with extreme hot or cold water, but I think it’ll work great. It absolutely does not leak. I also have a Hydro flask and this is very comparable and I wish I just got this one to begin with.
