I've had this waterbottle since... 2018? And I used it everyday and I love it so much. I stickered it up and fell into the habit of not washing it. I've lost the top rubber piece to mold (my fault) and I keep losing the bottle. I think the universe is sending signs to stop drinking mold. I'm still getting this water bottle tho and I'm gonna do it all again❤️

Mold in lid within a day

We bought three and so far each two developed mold in the lid. They are mostly the kids bottles. I think if you eat and drink, the mold will develop quickly within 24 hours. It's a hassle to clean since the gasket is smaller. It's not kid / teen friendly unless they can wash it themselves every day after school.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
