Keeps my tea hot and does not leak from the steam’s pressure. The handle is sturdy and comfortable to hold. The silicone bottom is a nice touch so it doesn’t make noise when you put it down. I just bought another one because I love it so much!

This was a gift request and I liked it so much I ordered for myself. I’m not a fan of straws inside my water bottle so that was a big plus for me. Also, the easy carry handle allows for me to carry easily with my other exercise equipment.

I have many Takeya products, I thoroughly enjoyed them. I decided to buy a new one and retire an older one. It seems to me, that with the newer ones, the seal in the spout, doesn't create a tight seal like the older ones did, and ended up leaking when I put tea in it. The older models had the silicone ring that was thicker and you could take it out to clean, but these newer ones don't have that option, so with hot liquids, I don't know about cold, it leaks which is disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After owning both a hydroflask & Takeya bottle I always see myself reaching for the Takeya. My drinks stay cold for hours on hours & I find it easy to drink from & carry. Also I feel like it’s a cute design :)

I'm not one to accumulate a great deal of stuff, but I finally decided it was time for a reusable water bottle that wasn't made of plastic. This product is perfect. I like the size, the insulation, and most especially the handle. It's comfortable to hold when walking. And when you like something, you reinforce that feeling by using it more. At least hydration is a healthy habit!

Not the same as older water bottles. This is thinner, lighter weight, does not hold ice without melting as long as the water bottles I bought several years ago. Same price, just cutting corners on quality.
