great for cold not for hot

Too much heat escapes from the plastic lid, so my hot tea is warm within a few hours. I like the shape of Takeya's large bottles much more than Swell's, but if I'm going to carry around a 40oz bottle, I want my tea hot. No complaints on the cold (though it doesn't keep as cold as Swell, I don't mind).
I hope they rethink the top's material!

I've used a variety of reusable bottles but this is by far my favorite. Super easy to clean no hard to remove seal rings and the spout makes for less spills.

These bottles keep water cold even overnight in a hot car. They are great. I especially like the spout which is easy to open, drink from and (most importantly) easy to clean!

This is my 5th Takeya water bottle and I love the product. These two 24oz bottles will be used during our travels abroad. Two 24 oz bottles seems to be perfect for our tours.

40 oz actives insulated water bottle

My entire family, husband, elderly mother and 4 schoolage kids, love these water bottles. As a teacher, staying hydrated during the day is important. I can count on this water bottle to keep my drink cold from the time I leave my house until I return home in the evening. My kids always laugh at the end of the day because they still have ice floating in their water! I've dropped mine a bazillion times and you'd never know it. I lost the clear ring out of the inside of my lid and still that bottle never leaks! I can drink out of my 40 oz bottle with one hand! I just can't say enough about our Takeya bottles! We've added to our collection because we all fight over them! I highly recommend these bottles!

I love my 32oz bottles. I have the teal and the onx and they work perfectly. We started out using them for just cold and had no problems. We then put coffee in them and they worked great to keep it hot as well. My only complaint is that since using it for coffee, I can't get the silicone rings to stop smelling of coffee. I've tried washing them several times and even soaked in vinegar with no success. So now, every time I take a drink of my ice water, it smells of coffee.
