I had heard Takeya water bottles have the best insulation, and water poured into them from the fridge does stay cold for 8-10 hours, which is very handy if you go straight from work to the gym. You could probably stretch it to 14 by adding ice cubes.
The cap over the drinking spout unscrews but cannot fall off because it's attached to a hinged tab. The carrying loop is large and attached to the same hinge, so the bottle always hangs straight down from your hand.
The wide range of sizes and colors allows you to choose a larger bottle for the gym, a smaller one for less dehydrating activity, and a color that helps yours stand out among the usual clear or silver water bottles.
Two features would perfect these bottles: a better seal on the wide-mouth cap‚ even when screwed on tightly, water leaks out if the bottle isn't vertical, and a detachable shoulder strap, because the larger sizes of bottle are heavy and awkward to carry when full. Someone who has small to medium size hands has to use both of them to lift the 40 ounce bottle in order to drink.

Almost perfect

The Actives bottle is an improvement from the Originals bottle, where it was almost impossible for me to take out the plastic O-ring to clean. Now I don't have to use a knife to get it out because it has a tab to grab and help get the ring out. 2 issues though....the larger silicone ring is really hard to get back on! You kind of need another hand. I get my daughter to help me. Another issue is that the underside of the top seems to have a crevice around it and I'm worried that mold and mildew can lurk in there over time and I'll never know. The manufacturer should create a better mold to eliminate that crevice. Almost perfect.

Best lid, best bottle.

As advertised my Takeya 18 oz water bottle holds ice for 24 hours. The lid is the best designed I have found. Strong, foolproof and insulated the lid is key to this easy to use bottle. This is by far the best of the many water bottles I have tried over the last 50 years.

I love this bottle and raved about it so much my Mom wanted one, so I bought the 2 bottle bundle. She loves hers and I now have 2. Keeps my water cold all day and night! Love it!!!

I love this bottle take it everywhere with me. Does keep the water cool even if locked up in the car, on a hot day sunny day and I am in Jamaica.

Great product! But a few small issues..

The bottle does keep drinks cold but not for as long as some different brands I've tried. A few reviews on YouTube mention this, as well. The look and feel is amazing, the blush pink color is beautiful in real life as well as photos. The bottle is slim and both the bottle with the rubber bottom fit in a regular cup holder in the car.
My other gripe is that while the texture of the bottle is lovely, the top part gets easily stained so if you work in a sort of rough environment, I wouldn't recommend you use the blush pink color. If it were better insulated, it would be a five star product for me.
