Less expensive but less effective than other optio

I purchased this water bottle as a less expensive option than a Yeti or similar brand. Maybe I got a defective bottle??
The good: really pretty color - large capacity - easy to wash, fill, and use.
The bad: does not keep water cold for long.
So far, I have brought this water bottle to the beach, to work, and I fill it before bed. At the beach (I live in Maine, so we rarely get much past 85°) kept out of the sun, my ice water is room temp in about 3 hours and within 6 hours is warm. At work ( I do catering, typically a mix of indoors & outdoors under a tent) it's room temp within 4-5 hours. At night (I blast my AC and my room is rarely warmer than 68° ) somehow my ice is melted by my midnight wake up. I keep the spout closed and use plenty of ice, so I'm not sure why I'm having this issue. Overall - if you don't care greatly about ice cold water this bottle is great. If you do, it may not be your best option.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the rubber bottom. My first week of using it and rubber keeps falling off. One day I found it outside another day on the seat of my car.

The 22 ounce size is much more efficient than my 18 ounce bottle. Despite the seemingly small difference in capacity, it seems that I can go appreciably longer between refills. Also, the 22 oz. bottle is the same diameter as its smaller cousin so it still fits nicely in my car’s cup/bottle holders. Remember to remove and clean the two seals on the main cap and the drinking spout as they can get moldy even with daily washing of the bottle.
