Powerful with a Ryzen 9 cpu and RTX 3080 video card. Haven't played games on it yet, but you can't hear it all at the non-game performance level. And at that level it runs cool. The display is bright and crisp. Would like to have had a blue ray drive, video camera and sd slot included in the package for the price.

I love having dedicated volume and fan speed keys
The integrated LEDs are slick

shockingly and disappointing speed on ryzen processor compared to intel. i was expecting blazing speeds with the ryzen processor which was slated to be best for laptops on small wattage and am terribly disappointed compared to i9 11th generation. it could be the motherboard, unlikely the 64gb ram, rtx 3080 or the 5 tb ssd, so i am left to look at the cpu.

love the laptop fast. Only complaint is it can do that false start I call it when the screen does not come on but the program is loading I have restart it sometime more than once pull the power cord helps sometime. I though maybe its because it has 2 different video chips or something in the bios

Specs on this laptop are great, especially the 16gb variant of the 3080 max-q. Only qualms are the fact that it shipped with a loose ribbon cable for the keyboard (easily fixed but I had to open a brand spanking new laptop when otherwise I shouldn’t have had to), pcie gen3 when pcie gen 4 has been integrated and readily available from other manufactures in this price range, and the lack of a mux switch. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH when I say this laptop NEEDS a mux switch. Gaming on battery is a joke. I can’t even maintain a steady 60-80fps in valorant on this machine and it’s way over spec for that game. Works wonderfully on AC but the lack of a mux switch is pitiful. The options in armoury crate for the iGPU are so limited that it makes 0 difference in game on battery. PLEASE UPDATE ARMOURY CRATE AND GIVE US THE OPTION TO TURN OFF THE INTEGRATED GRAPHICS SO WE CAN UTILIZE THE FULL INTEGRITY OF THIS MACHINE. Just kills me that I wanted this laptop so badly when there’s other options with more relative specs and include a mux switch. I can’t return it, and although I’m happy with its performance in blender, the lack of a mux switch and the loose ribbon cable really made me want to go with Lenovo next time around. Asus, hit me up if you want to make this right. I’m here waiting and willing.

It's a beautiful laptop, and for my purposes it has given me no trouble so far whatsoever. I'm primarily playing old video games that I can't play on consoles anymore, and I'm also using it as the base for a kind of complicated, jury-rigged streaming setup. In both cases it has done everything I need it to and more, with almost no need to fuss around with settings. I'm not an especially computer-literate person, so this has been a miracle to have setup and daily use be as easy as it has been.
