I love my new laptop. It plays all my games amazingly, and is super fast. However, my biggest issue with it is that ASUS just never seems to know how to design a keyboard. I get that this particular laptop, they had limited space to work with because of the secondary screen, but they seem to have made some really radical and questionable design decisions when it comes to the keyboard layout.
Example, this might be a bit difficult to explain. They removed the standard pgUp/pgDown, home/end keys and instead added a toggle button that allows you to replace the default arrow keys with the corresponding functions. For some reason, the Fn + arrow keys allow you to change the keyboard lighting options. I'm not sure why they thought we would need such ready access to rapidly change the keyboard Aura effects (it's easily changeable through the included app, and you rarely would even want to change it). But what's worse, is they could have just reversed the function of the toggle button to access the home/end, pgUp/pgDown by holding the Fn + arrow keys, and then let the toggle access the Aura Sync, but to my knowledge, that is not possible with the current drivers. It's a minor thing, but it bugs me a bit, and not something you would know prior to purchasing. It also really puzzles me why they designed it this way.

Overall, I'm happy with the laptop now that all of the issues have been worked out. However, I have to dock two stars because they shipped it to me with a bad wireless card that kept giving me the BSOD. After replacing the card at my own expense, everything works great! The laptop is an absolute beast and the second screen isn't just a cool party trick.
