We Love It!

We love this coffee machine. It makes perfect coffee. You don't have to think about measurements, it tells you exactly how much coffee and water to add.
We love the glass filter basket holder. It's heavy solid GLASS. No microplastics getting into your coffee. ?
With an added benefit...
We enjoy a "light show" every morning and if you want..."a coffee steam facial". ?

We've used it everyday for a year and 1/2. We usually wash it by hand, but sometimes I put everything on the TOP rack of the dishwasher...with normal heat setting.
Only 2 Caveats ...
The only "wear and tear" we've experienced is:t
1. The warmer element's coating is wearing off.

2. The "swing arm" is losing it's silver coating.
My advice is to keep it the natural color of white and do not coat it in the silver color.

The coffee this makes is actually delicious, have enjoyed it almost daily for the last year. Unfortunately, the glass carafe chipped due to being brittle from so much use, and there is no way to get a replacement. So after a year the pot is now useless. Thanks, Hamilton Beach!

Carafe not replaceable

Like others have mentioned, it makes good coffee, but good luck replacing the carafe (it's glass, you'd think they'd have thought this through) I had some luck using OXO's cold brew carafe until that broke (no handle, but fits) for those who want to get their money's worth.

Replace your old Coffee Maker with this Pour-Over!

I could not enjoy a cup of coffee more than with this pour over machine. We were doing it by hand but after discovering this automatic machine decided to give it a try. The brew is consistently wonderful and leaves behind NO sediment. As good as if we did it ourselves and saves us the actual time of doing it.
