I bought this and had it for about a week and half. I plan on using it for school, I have had no issues. Its black matte textured finish makes it feel durable. Its a convenient light weight slim laptop that I cannot wait to pack up w me everyday. Easily my favorite laptop I've ever had

Inexpensive basic laptop, not good for streaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up this inexpensive laptop to run xSplit through for my church's Sunday service livestreams. We began doing this due to COVID so our parish could have a "service from the church" without more than three people being there (the rector, a lay reader/assistant, and me doing the tech work). The service wanted to stream to both Facebook and be used in Zoom (xSplit as the camera source), so both xSplit and Zoom need to be active at the same time.
Unfortunately, the laptop does not have enough processor power to have both xSplit and Zoom running; it pops "CPU limit" errors and ends up being too framey, and the picture freezes frequently.
If you are looking for an inexpensive laptop for things like email and web surfing and basic document writing, this is great, though. I particularly think the build quality is nice, and it offers some decent tech like USB 3.0 and a built-in card reader. Screen looks nice and runs in 1920x1080.
So, depends on what you want to use it for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect laptop for my needs. I needed something smaller than my last one. This one is powerful enough for writing, watching videos, and listening to music. I don't do serious gaming so I can't speak on how it does with that but if you need just a good laptop for doing some MS office work and for entertainment, this is the perfect choice.
