So much fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 year old son had so much fun with this new Barbie Color Reveal Mermaid! He said he liked the new peel off design better than the one you swirl I water. It definitely was time consuming but really satisfying for him to peel off a little at a time. It was so much fun to get to open up all the little surprises! We loved the charm bracelet! What a neat idea! My son especially loves the mermaid kitten. We loved the changes of clothes and even mermaid kitty got a crown! How cute! My son loved changing her bathing suit, makeup and hair with warm or cold water. If you want to see a quick change be sure to use ice water or even an ice cube! Over all it’s such a fun toy!

Such a blast

Dipping the doll in the water was very exciting and my daughter had many guesses as to what she would turn out to be. She also had a fun time opening all the extra pieces! Would definitely recommend this Barbie doll.

The most fun part of this set is the heart compact with slime in it!!! It’s super cute and fun. My daughter really enjoyed opening all the surprises and will definitely be buying these for upcoming birthday parties!

Awesome Color Reveal doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is so adorable! It was a blast for my daughter to open all of the 25 blind bag surprises instead AND to reveal the color of the doll. She is beautiful and so well made. All of the accessories are perfect for the doll. My daughter is 5 and played with this doll for hours. It’s such a wonderful addition to her collection.

Disapointed Daughter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter thought it was a mermaid, not a Barbie doll with mermaid clothes. She was also disappointed with the quality of the pet. She did like all the "surprises" that come along with this set, and the Barbie is pretty with good hair. I don't think it will hold her interest past the initial opening of it fun.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

PEEL to reveal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doll you get is the exact one on the box. The Mermaid fashion doll is so pretty with super soft wavy hair with blue and pink highlights. This doll does NOT get dunked in water, you actually peel off the coating which I find is way less messy. But for water fun you can still use hot water to take the makeup and designs off both the doll and the mermaid pet, and cold water to make them reappear. My 5 year old was a HUGE fan of the gold tail on her mermaid pet. So many fun accessories with this, the favorite probably being the heart box and slime surprise. There is shell confetti to mix in the slime after you reveal the hidden bonus charm inside the slime. Once you find the second charm you can add it to the charm bracelet with heart locket that includes a heart sticker of her pet to put inside. My daughter likes to take the slime out and use the heart as a jewelry box for the charm bracelet. So many different elements of play here. Would definitely recommend.

Lots of fun surprises!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this as part of the Mattel Play, Rate, and Review program. My 5 year old loved opening all of the blind bags! She did have some trouble peeling the film off of the Barbie and the pet, but not enough to frustrate her. She also did not fit into the bracket, but, she liked the doll so much that she didn’t mind. She absolutely loved the slime and the heart shaped container! I liked that the slime was not sticky or messy. The doll is cute and the pet too. We loved the outfits and accessories. A great gift and lots of fun!
