[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heavy and extremely hot on the lap, but whisper silent and very fast. Extremely expensive. "Smart Performance" is a scam, don't pay for it, running it says "scanning system" indefinitely and the progress bar never moves.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great With Linux

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this recently to replace an eight year old macbook pro. My only complaint is that the model isn't offered with the (FAR SUPERIOR) AMD Ryzen processors. With that said, the build quality is great and once some Nvidia driver shenanigans got worked out it was painless to setup linux on it.
