[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my primary workstation because I love these new IR face login cameras. this machine performs flawlessly, is fast, and reliable. It is available with enough memory, storage, and graphics power to last "a while." Overall, I am very pleased with this machine. I have been using Thinkpads since they were first introduced in 1992, I touch type and like both the "pointing stick" and the "selectric" feel keyboard (that dates me!). I have owned a succession of X1 carbons, and I like them all. I have only updated to get more cpu speed, memory, and storage space (Windows is a hog), and to get the newer features. With care, these last a long long time. Good design, great keyboard, great internal options, and these come from Lenovo without any bloatware add ons, they are clean. On line tech support, when needed, is excellent. Very highly recommended.

Easily installed 32Mb of RAM (Came with 8) and the GPU and CPU performed very well under the software's performance tests. It is sleek and lightweight. A pleasure to use.
