[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the ThinkPad X1 for about 3 weeks now. It is a great laptop! It's fast and easy to use. The only drawback, which is completely my fault for not looking closer before purchasing, is that it doesn't have a 10key and doesn't have an ethernet RJ45 port. I was able to connect a USB ethernet adapter to get wired connectivity, until I get a docking station set up. I'm impressed with the performance and the thin lightweight build. This is going to be a great laptop to take on the road!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The X1 Extreme 3 is probably one of the best laptops I've ever owned. I had just recently purchased a Dell XPS 15 for school because of the new refresh. The Dell broke leaving me stuck without a computer. I looked at a bunch of different computers but then remembered a fondness I had for my original ThinkPad back in the 00's and a Lenovo Yoga I had a few years ago. Looking at the specs is what made me decided on the X1. First, and most importantly for school, the keyboard practically begs to be typed on. The computer is blazing fast and the screen is amazing. I like that they kept the little track dot over the years, something I kind of always missed, and the glowing red dot on the back of the case makes me smile. I realize this isn't a very "tech" review, so if you're a normal person like me looking for a good computer that's got a good feel and is going to move really fast... Go with the X1.
