[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] overall its a top of the line Laptop. extremely fast and reliable. the overall look and feel of the laptop is exactly what I wanted, with 1 exception. with it being a 15.6" I was fully expecting there to be a numerical pad. the pictures that it shows online are slightly misleading. but other than that I'm very happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall great laptop! The screen is really nice quality, and runs top of the line for being 2 generations old. However, runs very hot, not fun to have on your lap - really needs a lap fan which isn't ideal to carry around all the time. I use it mostly as a workstation so it isn't as much of a problem. Also, the battery life is pretty low - probably doesn't help that the screen is running so many pixels, but worth it for me since I don't use it too much in one long chunk on the go without plugging it in!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The X1 is the perfect business laptop. The high resolution 15.6 inch touch screen is a plus for productivity. I use the Lenovo Pen Pro, which allows me to sketch and share ideas more effectively with others. Having the red joystick pointer in the center of the keyboard distinguishes this laptop from others. Typing and pointer movements are possible using the red joystick, without having to remove your hands from the keyboard. Another feature that impresses me is the speed and accuracy of the face recognition login. This is my second X1 Extreme Thinkpad, and the eighth Thinkpad that I've owned in the past 12 years. All but the two oldest of these are still running and performing well.
