Great computer for work and play. Solid screen space and great keyboard. One downside would have to be the battery, just does not make it through the day if you are not near an outlet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 3 is everything I had hoped for and more. Its 4K UHD OLED touch screen is beautiful and responsive. The colors and resolution is are vibrant. The keyboard is nicely backlit and the keys have perfect travel and feel natural to the touch typist. Bluetooth and WiFi connect seamlessly and without hesitation. Woven carbon fiber case feels secure to hold and hides your finger prints pretty well. Audio sounds natural whether voices on a video call or music to work by. All in all, this ThinkPad X1 is the real deal. Thanks Lenovo for a high end, quality product.
The Good: Lightweight, fast(I had a couple of 64GB DDR4 DIMMS I installed). Nice feel and works great when in use and stays cool.
The Bad: Sometimes it closes all my browsers my work when I close the lid and sometimes it doesn't so don't know what's going on with that. Also, when I close the screen I can still hear the cooling fan going. My HP Z-book automatically went into sleep mode when I closed the laptop screen-I'm still trying to figure out how to fix this Lenovo.
Overall, I like the laptop and trying to get it to work the way I want. I'm not sure I would recommend this one but I got a great deal on it so that's why I'm keeping it. Once it's up and running it's a great device and lightweight is important since I do a lot of traveling.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
