the laptop is really powerful and ideal for work. only a small problem, when I plug in my external monitor before starting it it does not want to start the screen remains black

I purchased this laptop and after using it for a total of one hour, it stopped working and will not power up.
Called customer support and this two hour old laptop has to be sent away for repairs or replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Frankly I am disappointed with the build of the touch pad and casing around the touchpad and keyboard. I recently purchased 2 E15 Thinkpads and they are much better built, fit and finish all around. I regret not having purchased 3 more Thinkpads. I have multiple users on these laptops and I am concerned of their longevity.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great bang for your buck notebook

Bought this notebook completely based on the product description. It's not a thin and light (Ultrabook), but if you're in the market for a general purpose laptop, it's tough to beat this one.
- Build quality is great, no deck flex on the keyboard, no screen wobble, feels well built and sturdy.
- Fantastic IO, I'd say probably best in class IO for this type of notebook.
- USB C charger, love this, such a minor feature, but nice not to have the standard barrel plugs or proprietary adapters.
- Screen is good, nothing special really but 1080P.
- WiFi 6 (ax) is really nice as well.

In terms of using the device, please take this with a grain of salt as my use with it was limited since I bought it for someone else, but boot times felt snappy as did overall use.
Pretty much stock install of Windows (no bloatware) and the preinstalled Lenovo utility actually seemed useful.
Windows precision drivers for the touchpad, so really good gesture control and tracking.

If you can get this computer on a sale, I think it's a great buy.

This is my dream in heaven laptop. its very fast! the keyboard and the screen is high quality. I am 10 times more productive on this laptop compared to my previous laptops that were super slow in comparison to this :)
