[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product. Construction quality and performance are what I have come to expect from Lenovo. And the price point was excellent. This is my fourth, and I'll keep buying Lenovo.
I use my laptops for everything from home entertainment to studio recording and graphics editing, and even live concert production. Every Lenovo I have purchased to date has been able to keep up. I've owned T series, W series and now the ThinkBook 15 series. So far, they are all excellent.
The ThinkBook 15 shows a lot of promise. I've had it in the fleet for about a month. The physical build feels solid. The case does not flex. The weight is good. The port selection is generous enough for a thin laptop. The ports are well places, giving plenty of access. The battery length has been on par with Lenovo's estimated operating time.
Performance so far has been excellent. I have put some very heavy loads on the system and it is processing without fail.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this computer for about a month now, after dropping my Toshiba and breaking it. I desperately needed a replacement as I was scheduled to take an on-line proctored exam in less than two weeks. The keyboard is nice, the keys are silent when you type. I selected the version without a touch screen and it seems to be having less issues than my previous laptop (that had a touch screen). The monitor is large enough and clear. I do a lot of work with excel so it was important to have a large enough screen for easier reading. The only negative is that when I am streaming the computer seems to encounter a lot of lag; this could be more of an internet provider issue. It was easy to set up as long as you remember your Microsoft account log in!
