Upgrade to Approach G12

I lost my old similar Garmin, and upgraded to the Approach G12. It worked great, and I checked the distances against a friends laser and it matches. Great device, and I now have the strap attachment so I won't lose it - I hope.

Great Tool

I bought this item about 4 weeks ago and have used it once at one of the golf courses I play at. It did everything I expected it to do, yardages were very accurate, and it was easy to use and read (even for me who is a golf novice). It is an excellent tool for the price.

Garmin Approach G12

I used it the first time about 2 weeks ago. I wasn't really too "shot in the behind" with it, to be real frank. It took too long for it to pick up the yardages. However, since that time, I have fully programmed it and look forward to giving it another try soon.

Not golfer friendly

Received this for Christmas to replace my voice caddy.
I can’t figure the best place to put it. Clipping it to my belt, I am constantly unclipping, clipping. The best place so far is in my pocket. Not very desirable.
Secondly if I’m on a tee box the yardage is different than my partner using a Garmin watch. Up to 4-5 yds different
