Keep it Simple!

All I really need are distances to front, center and back of green and the obstacles along the way. This baby gives me these with accuracy in an easy to read interface without the need of reading glasses!. No frills. No bells and whistles. And the best part, because there are no frills (ie. Amoled displays, touch screen features, etc.), the battery lasts forever. I literally just keep it in my bag. I'm on my 3rd round without charging. We'll see how far I can go

I received this as a gift in July and have enjoyed using it ever since. It’s light weight and easy to access while playing. Ive found the distances to be very acccurste and the distances provide to hazards of each hole are very helpful.

I have 2 Approach G12s (mine and my wife's) and an Approach G30. All 3 record different distances from the same location. My wife's G12 is about 5 yards longer than the Approach G30 which is about 5 yards longer than my G12. For us casual golfers this is not a big deal. For somebody with more dialed in yardages on their clubs it will make a difference.
