I purchased this 12" chainsaw and Had gas. Now being over 70 years old it was just to much of a pain .After I had gotten it I could not have been happier.I charged and put to use. Was the perfect tool for me. I only have an acre and is doing stuff I did not expect. Have been very pleased with saw.

I am a 63 year old widow and I found the Greenworks Chainsaw to be very easy to start and handle. Just charge the battery and push a button..its that easy. And its light weight also so no heavy lifting.

WE USED IT FOR AT TRAILER PARK TO CLEAN BRUSH ALONG THE SHORE. I'M 74 YEARS OLD. I USE IT TO TRIM TREES AND CUT CAMP FIRE WOOD. IT'S LIGHT AND IS POWERFUL ENOUGH TO CUT 10IN WOOD

I bought this at the beginning of the year. I had never used a chainsaw and this was very easy to handle.This is one powerful little tool. It has an 8 inch chain. I have used it on dead trees in the yard that I'd been wanting gone. The largest tree had a circumference of around 10-12 inches. I haven't had to add anymore bar oil and I've used it about 20 hours so far. Not heavy or bulky at all.

Great Until do it yourself recall

Am a 72 yr old woman who thought this chainsaw would be great, & has been ‘til I got the recall ! “Under certain circumstances it can remain ON! Called, & was told they will ship the part to repair it to me- like my car manufacturer telling me “ Your accelerator “may stick , but we’ ll send you the part to repair it. Have to have part shipped to a repair place 40 some miles away, wait for part & repair, meanwhile the saw is useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
