Works great so far - came fully assembled, just adjust the blade cutting height, pop in the two batteries and there was one charge bar remaining on one battery after doing the front AND back yards! Of course, it is early in the season, grass has just started to grow. But so far so good.

I love how it tackles tall grass like it wasn’t even there! I had covid and couldn’t mow for almost a month and tried this mower out for the first time and it sliced through 8” crab grass areas as if it were only 2” tall. I was shocked!
The problem I do have is trying to drag this thing backwards. With the Smartpace self propel engaged, sometimes I can randomly move the mower backwards no problem but most of the time the wheels completely lock up and it’s difficult to move the mower backwards. I have so many nooks in my yard I have to be able to mow a tiny area and then back out of it. I wish I knew why sometimes the wheels weren’t locked and why most of the time they are and how to fix it :(

Was so looking forward to getting this mower, but have encountered some problems. The dual batteries fully charged did not last for both front and back yards, but I can deal with that. The main problem is the self propelled feature. I am somewhat disabled and can’t walk very fast . Couldn’t keep up with mower when self propelled engaged. Any suggestions?

Hello Bboo,
We are sorry to hear you are not happy with The slowest speed for this self-propelled lawnmower is 1.6-4.9 fps (0.5-1.5 m/s) This is standard on self-propelled mowers across the industry. To adjust the speed of self-propelled feature: pull the self-propel speed controls toward the Rabbit Symbol to increase speed. Push the self-propel speed controls toward the Turtle Symbol to decrease speed. Been looking for a long time for a self propelled Cordless Mower. Have alot of Greenworks 40V tools. Liked what I saw with this model and bought it. First time out was first mow of the season in upstate NY. Worried about some Wet Spots and how this mower would perform. Well, it performed VERY WELL, made a believer out of me as a true replacement for my older 2 stroke lawnboy mower. I love it but wish i could control the Power to the Blade manually, that is my only complaint. So far it is more than I expected and I love it.
