Rather than pay a few too many dollars to have someone cut down various trees and overgrown bushes, I decided to purchase this item and cut things myself. I’ve never used a saw before. I’ve never had so much fun using a power tool. You just put oil in it, put some safety gloves on, hold it steady, and saw to your hearts content. I named her ‘Snaps’. It is a delight to use this tool.

Over all it's a good saw but not as good as the original. I purchased the same model in 2014 and used it extensively. Current version takes longer to get to speed and chain spins longer after trigger release. Power is good once it's up to speed, just not as zippy a performer as what I was used to.

I'm a retired Forester and am well accustomed to using chain saws. I purchased the battery chainsaw because as I'm getting older and not able to fight with a gas powered chainsaw to start I wanted this one to go when I say go and stop when I get tired. LOL
It works great for what I need it for. I recently cut down 3 trees I no longer wanted and it made quick work of the project. Plenty of power and long lasting as well.

This tool has been a miracle worker on my twenty acre homestead. I purchased the chainsaw after watching how easily my son mowed his lawn with his Greenworks battery powered mower. No more hassle, mixing gas and oil and trying to store it for future use in a traditional, gas powered chainsaw! Just keep chain oil in it, and the battery charged, and cut away!

I cut hundred trees on my back yards, mostly 5-6 inches tree diameter.
Perfect tool for a first chainsaw. Powerful, no kick back, few maintenance.
No loud, perfect to be use Saturday at 7:00!
