[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that it is lightweight & easy to use but it should work longer on a charge. Each time I used it, it only runs for 10 minutes, then the battery needs recharged again. You can't get much done with only 10 minutes of run time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello frankw.
We are sorry to hear of this experience. The trimmer is equipped with an auto-feed head. The line will extend approximately 1/4 in. with each stop and start of the switch trigger until the line reaches the length of the grass deflector cut-off blade.
There are a few reasons the line is not feeding. 1. The motor shaft or trimmer head is may be bound with grass. Stop the trimmer, remove the battery, and clean the motor shaft and trimmer head. 2. There is not enough line on the spool. Remove the battery and replace the cutting line; follow the section “line replacement “in the user manual. 3. The trimmer head is dirty. Remove the battery and clean the spool, spool retainer and spool base. 4. The line is tangled on the spool. Remove the battery, remove the line from the spool and rewind; follow the section in user manual "line replacement". 5. The line is too short. Remove the battery and pull the lines.
Hoping these tips resolve the issue you are experience. If they do not please contact us through Chatbot on www.greenworkstools.com or call 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). We would like the opportunity to speak with you to see if we can find a solution.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being close to 80 the self propulsion feature is unbeatable on my hills and inclines. The blower is superb, very efficient. The trimmer works well but gets too heavy for me, not the trimmer's issue, but mine. I'm not very good with it.
The bump feed gets stuck routinely and the strength of the tool is fairly weak. I gave it one season to win me over, but it never did. I will be purchasing a new trimmer next year.

Hello JLH4119,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with this product. We are concerned to read that you are feeling let down and that the unit has not fully met your expectations. Bump feed getting stuck, check that the guard is cleared of debris. Build up debris on the underside of the guard may prevent the line from cutting at its full potential. Ensure the cutting blade located on the underside of the guard is exposed, clean and clear of debris. If the blade is dull sharpen or replace the cutting blade. This will allow your trimmer line to work more effectively. We hope this tip helps! If you would like us to support you before you make the decision to return it, please get in touch with us directly at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). We look forward to hearing from you.
