Automatic string feed is problematic

I bought mine 3 years ago, auto line feed ne er did work, battery life is far shorter than implied.
Now the line cutter fell off in the yard...the sku here on the website doesnt bring up any replacement parts at all 2101602.
Seems like a part that falls off but is needed would be available.
I bought a different brand today.

Horrible

Bought this about two years and I absolutely hate it. The batteries die way to quickly. The leaf blower only lasts 5 minutes, the mower does in 10 to 15 minutes. The only thing I think I like is the weed eater. Not worth the money in my opinion. Thought this would work best for a yard that is small, but nope. If I could return my set I absolutely would.

Trimmer, run-times vary based on grass conditions and operator’s technique and blowers are considered a high-power draw application which means they do tend to drain the battery quite rapidly in comparison to some other tools. Mower runtimes can vary depending on a few factors, including but not limited to grass texture and consistency, cutting height, using the self-propelled for the entire mow, and lawn size. For added runtime, we recommend purchasing additional batteries and you can view the 24V platform here, (https://www.greenworkstools.com/em-cgi/btag/collections/24-volt?uff_57w5tv_metafield%3Aattribute.accessories=Batteries%20%26%20Chargers).
Each product requires two batteries to operate. Ensure both batteries are charged 100%. If each battery has a different charge state, the run-time of the machine is subject to the lowest powered battery (For example one battery is charged 100, and the other is charged 50%, the unit will only run until the 50% battery is depleted). Meets the Needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great 12in string trimmer with some minor flaws. Without the small flaws, I would give it a 5 star review. It works great for what I need it for, mainly edging. The flower guard is too small, the trimmer kicks up lot of debris when edging, so make sure to wear safety glasses. The lock switch is not conveniently located and difficult to push when trying to push the speed switch, and both of them tend to jam a little when trying to use. It is also difficult to press the lock switch when the trimmer is turned 180degrees to edge. A small secondary handle would be great for edging also. The trimmer itself is powerful. It feeds the string as advertised. Battery run time is as advertised. To use a lower speed, you have to start the trimmer at full speed first and then let up some on the speed switch.
Pros: Durable, Effective, Powerful
I would recommend this to a friend!

DON'T BUY!!!!

not gonna lie the product is put together very cheap. i bought the 3 piece combo kit went to use it for the first time yesterday and the arms on the lower are broken and won't stay in the correct position bc the little piece that holds it on the side broke doesn't even thread into the piece. broke while pushing it and now just flops everywhere and can't use it. the weed eater doesn't even lock into place and just shuts off every five minutes. very poor product just stick to gas
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor string feed

Bought this hoping that the "self feed" vs "bump feed" would work better. Does not. I still have to stop, open the cap, advance the string, etc. The single battery doesn't last through my front and back yard. Tried to purchase a second battery in store but they didn't carry it.

Making sure the line is wound tightly and not crossed over itself can often improve performance.
Regarding runtime, the included 2.0Ah battery typically provides up to 20–30 minutes of use, depending on grass type and trimming conditions.
