Cut a lot of trees with this saw

I bought 2 of these so I could carry one in each truck. Trees blow down a lot out here and these are perfect for the occasional use. I hired a young man to clear a bunch of downed trees and broken limbs. He looked at this electric saw and questioned it's ability to handle the big pile of logs. After 3 days of cutting and stacking the 3 cords of wood he cut he decided to buy a saw for himself. Buy a few batteries and these saws will cut as much wood as you normally would want to. When a battery runs out of juice it's time for me to take a break. Love these saws. Lack of noise and far less vibration than gas saws make these easier to use.

Cordless Chainsaw

We have bought two....We have used the one for several years without a minutes complaint. The battery life is longer than mine some times... An easy to use tool for some many trimming, cutting....anything. It is a very safe saw with very little chance of kickback.. Keep the chain sharp and it will perform so excellent.
I recommended a GreenWorks saw and my 81 year old sister has one that she can "hardly" live without. I have two gas saws one Husky 2100 xp and a Husky Rancher..and have cut thousands of cords of wood... But for ease and handiness this is the best. We have been sextons at a 15 acre cemetery for 30 years and this Greenworks tool is always nearby.
I recommended a GreenWorks saw and my 81 year old sister has one that she can "hardly" live without. This saw is amazing! I certainly can and do recommend it. I have owned gasoline fueled saws in the past and have had to contend with mixing gas and oil, disposing of unused mixture when it became out dated, trying to start a saw that had been unused for a while, and visits to the service center for maintenance. None of that with a Greenworks cordless chainsaw. Just push a button and it’s on. The last tree I cut down was a little over 16 inches in diameter and I had no problem with this saw. It’s also a dream to use during the stop and go cutting when bucking. My first Greenworks 16”40 volt cordless saw was lost in a recent flood and I didn’t hesitate to buy another.

It actually works

Put this thing through its paces yesterday and I like it way more than I thought I would. It is lighter, quieter, and cuts nearly as well as my orange colored saw. The battery lasted about as long as tank of gas would have and the lack of exhaust made my morning of clearing brush more enjoyable.
The chain stays tensioned through the morning. Chain brake functioned as it should. Throttle started and, more importantly, stopped very quickly. It seems to be a quality tool.
Zero regrets with my purchase.

Excellent saw

I purchased three of these G-Max 40V saws several years ago to thin and prune juniper and pine on grazing land. Was not sure if the battery saws would hold up to the demands of ranch work, but hold up they did and without even one major problem with any of the saws over hundreds of hours of use. When I first got these saws one old boy I had working for me scoffed at it, but now these are the go to saw for any job within it's capacity. All but the large gas saws are collecting a lot of dust these days.
Because of their light weight and ease of use, these saws became invaluable in steep canyons and rocky terrain. Three batteries per saw, a jug of oil and a file would keep my crew of three workers going all day.

This is my 4th Greenworks tool and my second chainsaw which, I suspect, says all I need to say about Greenworks. I have a mower and string trimmer that use the same battery system so there is never a worry about being ready to take on a task. I bought my brother the chainsaw for Christmas and helped him clear his property with it. Typical Greenworks traits: Low noise, no fumes and does the job with no fuss.

This is my third Greenworks tool I've purchased this year. I chose the Greenworks line of cordless tools because of the consistent ratings and the extensive accessories and purchase combinations. The chainsaw worked perfectly almost right out of the box. I filled the chain oil resevoir and snapped in the 4.0 charged battery and did my limb cutting chore. Easy, quiet, quick, powerfull, and well balanced. Happy with the purchase.
