Thank you for sharing your experience. The 24V 1/2" Hammer Drill delivers 530 in/lbs of torque, which is designed for most household drilling and fastening tasks. However, lag bolts for TV wall mounts often require much higher torque, which can be challenging for this model. For best results, we recommend drilling a pilot hole first, or using an impact driver, which is built to handle heavy-duty fastening like lag screws. If you are looking for a stronger option within the Greenworks platform, our 24V Brushless Impact Driver offers significantly higher torque and is better suited for this type of application. A little disappointed by the little nylon / polyester storage bag - would have been nice to have had separate compartments for the battery and for the charger, so they're not all thrown in smooshed against each other.
