Excellent trimmer, works great with my other Greenworks batteries. Tool is well balanced and cuts extremely well. The trimmer can cut a lot of hedge prior to running down, great deal of power. The trimmer had no problem with cutting thick hedge and vine. Fantastic product for the money, well worth the purchase price.

This replaced another brand hedge trimmer we had used for two years. The Greenworks tool outperforms in several ways. It is more durable and more powerful. It also has a swivel head which allows to pivot horizontally AND vertically. It makes our work in the garden quicker and easier. We now have four Greenworks tools for our large parcel and we plan to buy more.

I LOVE the trimmer ... but it stopped on a branch, now makes a funny noise, like marbles rolling around inside. I plan to call for instructions on what to do about it. HELP! ... Love my 40 volt chain saw which has served me well these past 5 years cutting down invasive Brazilian Pepper trees and trimming avocado and Bottle-brush trees. Love my blower too!

Easy to use out of the box, accepts two battery sizes in the 40 volt group -- if you own batteries already be sure they are the correct versions for this unit. Runs easily up to an hour on fully charged larger battery.

I bought this hedge trimmer about 3 years ago. My through-the-woods driveway is about a quarter mile long. The branches of the trees & bushes growing along side encroach & scratch my car. This trimmer EASILY cuts off 1/4" thick branches & even 1/2"ers with a little effort. I can trim both sides back in a single day. It used to take DAYS using a hand lopper. This has an advantage that I can use the same 40 volt battery that my 12" chainsaw uses.
