The ability to rotate and lock the blade ninety degrees was an awesome surprise! This was much better than the corder hedge trimmer that I kept trimming the cord with!

I could not be happier...the long run time and swivelling head features are excellent. When they say it will cut 3/4" branches, they mean it, and it's not a struggle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Powerful hedge trimmer that cuts thru bushes like butter. I recently needed to remove some 20 year old bushes that were simply overgrown. I used my new GreenWorks hedge trimmer to cut the bushes down so I could remove the stumps. Thanks to GreenWorks, the time I thought I needed to get this job done was cut in half. What a terrific tool!!

I really like how easy the trimmer is to handle: it's lightweight, has good reach across and around the shrubs, and the rotating handle makes easy work of vertical trimming. The battery and charger from my other Greenworks tools is compatible with this new one too, which played a big part in what turns out to be a wise purchase.

Broke on the first day. Greenworks refused to replace it.

Got the 40V Hedge trimmer as a gift. On the first day of use the blades locked up and the machine was hopelessly jammed. Did some basic troubleshooting to repair. Nothing. Waited 30m for customer service to answer and they said because I tried to repair it they wouldn't replace it. Garbage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There is truly no intent to disappoint our customers, when there is an issue with the tool; we advise customers to contact us prior to trying to repair the unit themselves. If the product owner uses independent or self-repair this will void the warranty.
We also advise our customers, to hold on to a copy of their receipt for the duration of the warranty, just in case. Receipts, serial, and model numbers are required information for all warranty claims. This information is necessary to keep an accurate record of which items and model numbers are defective and is ultimately for your safety and reduces fraudulent acts.
