Great home protection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been wanting to upgrade our traditional doorbell to a smart video doorbell, and finally did! Installation was very straightforward and easy to do. The doorbell provides video recording of anyone at our door, so we have peace of mind knowing who is on the other side. I really like the features offered and how easy it is to operate. I’m able to see a clear picture of anyone who is at my door, so I feel safe when I open it. This is an excellent product for anyone who is looking to add a convenient safety feature to their home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great doorbell camera, we had no issues installing it and getting it to work, you have it connect to your phone and you can tell who is at the door once they ring it. Great product and I would recommend. We love it, we get some ding dong ditchers, kids just playing, in the area on occasions and it helps us to know if we have to get the door or not.

Good Doorbell Overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try this doorbell. Upon opening the package, I did become a bit hesitant about the installation process however the company has a great video on it. After watching it twice, I felt confident in the process. The installation went smoothly and it was soon online and synced with my phone. It's awesome to be able to see outside at any given time. I love how much area the camera covers. Having 2-way audio is great in case you are unable to answer the door immediately. There are two included mounting plates to get the right fit for your house and multiple storage options. And the app is really easy to use. The only complaint I have is that I am often getting notifications that there is a human detected and no one is there. We live in the country, have the doorbell pointed away from the road and do not have people randomly walking around so I am unsure of what exactly it is detecting. Everything else about this doorbell is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for the review and for choosing Night Owl! While this doorbell does have human detection, you will experience a minimal number of false alerts. This can occur when an object appears within the camera's field of view and the camera does not properly distinguish it. Again, this should not happen with frequency.

Great Investment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great investment and perfect security system for people on the go as well as for keeping an eye out on your property or different rooms while you are home. You can use the cameras indoors or outdoors. Cameras give you a clear view during the day and at night with the nighttime vision. There are lights on the cameras that will come on with motion and also record the motion. Set up was fairly easy. One thing to note: you need to have your router and screen/tv that you plan on viewing with in the same room. This was the only thing that made the set up difficult. Also with that, you need to have the base hooked up to your router to get the view of the cameras on your phone. If you do not have the router and screen in the same room permanently you will need to choose whether to have the view of your cameras either on TV (not connected to router) or phone (router connected). When choosing what system to get I chose the one with the cameras that were not hard wired thinking that the cameras were wireless but they are WiFi wireless and they do need to be plugged in so you need to have the camera in reach of an outlet. That made placement of the cameras a bit difficult. When viewing the cameras on your phone you are able to have two way communication. There are multiple options on viewing the cameras that can be chosen with the mouse that is included in the set.

Feeling much safer at home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with how much safer I feel at home having installed and using this. Installation was super easy and requires minimal experience. The features of the doorbell are exceptional and it works beautifully. I like that it has a sensor that detects people at the door and has a wide angle range that allows you to see everything. The facial capture is super clear and allows you to safely view who is ringing the bell. It also has a night vision feature allowing you to see up to 30 feet in the dark and still know who is at the door. I like that you can record and especially audio which is super helpful in bad situations with a micro SD card but also has several options available to suit your needs. The camera quality is super making this a must have to use as a stand alone doorbell but with enhanced safety features.

Pretty Good System

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed the system just over 1 week ago. First off, it is packaged very nicely, very professional presentation. The hardware appears to be very high quality. I did notice the power wires for the cameras were about 10ft. I ended upbhaving to buy additional extension wires in order to power the cameras. I had some intianl difficulty getting the firmware updated and the app working properly. About 30 minutes with tech support and everything was up and running. Picture quality and sound have been great. My biggest complaint is the amount of false positive recordings I am getting at night. I have since had to turn off the automatic notifications. I beleive it is an issue with lights/shadowing. Overall I am pleased with the system.
