My wife and I bought the Rest Mini for our nursery as the sound machine we had just wasn't doing what we need. So far, the Rest Mini has been perfect! The volume is highly adjustable and gets quite loud (obviously some sounds (e.g. white noise) will naturally be louder than others (e.g. wind)). Further, the touch controls are smooth and responsive. The only reason for the docked star is the app. Overall, the app is user friendly and adds several features, such as setting a timer and access to premium features. However, I've had some occasional issues getting the app to connect to the Rest Mini, which completely negates its usefulness. Thankfully, the Rest Mini can easily be used without the app in these moments. All in all, I would 100% recommend the Rest Mini to anyone looking for a quality sound machine.

Love it, needs a fan!

The wind sound is perfect for drowning out my rampaging cats at night. I just wish there were more sounds like it. Too many water sounds, I would have to pee like 3 times every night if I listened to a water one. I’d love a straight fan sound.

We travel for a living and this is by far the best sound machine we’ve ever owned. I like that we can use the basic sounds even when we’re in remote areas without signal.

Only a sound machine

I thought since it was the “mini” I’d be just like the rest but smaller. While the sound quality is great, I was disappointed it didn’t have a little light. This is simply a sound machine and not a mini of the Rest. I should’ve read closer.

Awesome little sound machine

I purchased this sound machine after I moved my baby to his own nursery at 5 months. We put his regular hatch rest in his room with him, but I loved it so much that I needed something just like it. I love that it is app controlled, and has the same perfect sound as the hatch rest. The size is perfect for my night stand and is very portable as well. The mini is small enough to easily throw in my diaper bag and go. I highly recommend this sound machine to anyone looking for a great portable, small machine. The sound quality is amazing for how small it is.
