Weird Work Hours

My husband works overnight, so he uses the Rest Mini while he's sleeping during the day to block out any sound coming from the rest of the house. It's worked out great for him!

Almost Perfect

We have a couple of Hatch Minis and a Hatch Rest+. Overall, liking the mini a lot but wish desperately for two features: One, a lock button that locks the controls, and two, to be able to "delete" or "remove" sounds from the mini on the app. It's very VERY very annoying to have to cycle through all the sounds even though you only ever use one and it just accidentally got bumped. Please, please, please Hatch Gods, hear my plea.

Decent sound but limited content and disconnection problems

Decent sound - it is a decent sound maker and volume range is good.
Limited content - I don't mind subscribing for content, but its limited. Also, you can't play the shorter stories back-to-back, you have to wait for the one to finish, then start the next one, frustrating, especially for stories that are grouped together.
Disconnection problems - My first hatch mini, the company replaced, because within minutes of connecting to the app, it would lose connection. The replacement, and my second one, loose connection on a recurring basis, but not as often at the moment.

Good! But a few faults

We have always had noise machines for not only the baby but for all in our home. The rest mini does the job. We do the steady waves sound . I do wish there were a few more sounds or some better choices like box fan ( our go to noise) this is purely opinion . The function with the app is helpful but if power goes out or there is a WiFi outage the app has to completely reconnect and must be done manually . We love that it blocks lots of noises like the other kids playing in the next room. Would recommend but go through the noises before buying.

It’s great! My boyfriend snores and having the hatch really helps block his noise so I can sleep. If he’s not here I use the “rain” noise, very soothing!

Rest mini is a malfunctioning machine

I love the product idea, and we love the subscriber content, but the fact that I’m paying for content that I can’t use is extremely frustrating. The Rest mini is constantly malfunctioning, I have had 3 replacements and all of them do the same thing: randomly change sounds, suddenly shut off for no reason, and change volume without warning. I am very disappointed with the mini and would not spend money on another one.

I love this! I’ve used sounds on my phone but the quality coming from my hatch is so clear and comforting. I’ve always heard great things and now know for myself how nice it is to have!
