Works fine, but lacking ability to schedule

The price and sound are great, but it is missing a key feature. You cannot program it to automatically turn on and off at specific times like some of the other models. That is a huge let down as I really like that feature and it is a pain to manually do it every night. All it would require is a software update. Do the right thing for the customer, Hatch!

I like the size and

I like the size and portability but the buttons on top are very annoying. Sometimes I have to press multiple times with different pressure to get the desired result. Other times the buttons activate when I don't want them to. I wish the device could work unplugged with a battery. Using this for travel and trying to find a well positioned outlet is frustrating. Lastly I don't like that you have to have a phone/app/wifi to set up the device and use it optimally. Overall I don't think the product is well designed and wouldn't repurchase. 2.5 stars. I prefer the Hatch Rest.

Got this for my baby's

Got this for my baby's room. She isn't born yet so have yet to see it's full effect but it seems like a quality sound machine, I like the different options and the controlling from my phone. The only thing I wish is that I could integrate it with the rest of my smart home things, the lights in baby's room run off my Google home, as does my humidifier that I will use for her, so not being fully integrated into my smart home is a big miss. I get that some people have security concerns, but this is already a wifi enabled device so I don't see the difference at that point.

Versatile, compact sound machine with lots of options

We originally got the mini to take with us on trips, but have been using it in the common area of our house. It’s been a lot of fun to set up and explore, especially with the options available through the membership. It doesn’t take up much space at all, provides the ability to help my child anticipate cool down times before bed or naps, the volume is great, operation from the app or the machine are easy, and it is aesthetically pleasing, as well. I wish it had the ability to operate off wifi, as that might be a challenge on some of our vacations, but it’s otherwise perfect.

Not super thrilled about the

Not super thrilled about the micro transactions of the device. The extra purchases after buying was unexpected. Other than that it works fine but the extra cost is a little much. I would probably have just gotten a Bluetooth speaker if I had know about the in app purchases.

We love all the hatch products we have! Our infant used the mini since she has been born! It’s the only sounds she knows for sleeping and nursing. We will be gifting these to all our friends as baby gifts 🎁

Excellent customer service

We love our Rest Mini! Customer service is top notch. We had our original rest mini for a few weeks and my son knocked it off of the bedside table, causing the sounds to not work. I contacted Hatch and they sent us a replacement for free!

Love the customer service almost as much as I love the product! Our new hatch arrived and it has been amazing 🤩. Connects easily, small and compact for daily use. All around great for what we need!
