Although we purchased the Hatch mini for when our twin granddaughters are napping at our house... we now use it for ourselves too. Very convenient for travel as well.

Small and effective

This compact device provides basic sounds, best suited for a newborn or baby. It doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles of the standard Hatch, but it’s just as easy to use and provides great sound output. We keep the mini in our baby’s nursery but plan to upgrade when baby is able to interact a little more.

Disappointed

I had high hopes, but I'm disappointed. I find the machine hard to use without the app, and I don't want to reach for my phone when I'm trying to fall asleep to change settings. The sounds are also not my favorites. They are all very rhythmic which sounds fake (rain doesn't sound the same around the clock, it comes and goes heavier, lighter, thunders, etc). I got this to replace my cheaper no name brand sound machine that died after 3 years of solid daily use, but now I wish I had just replaced it instead of trying something new. I also have a Frida sound machine for my baby that I like better than this.
Side note: I bought directly from the website to get Delta points, but the rest mini is not eligible which seems pretty ridiculous.

Sound quality disappointing.

Great part of the hatch family but thought I was only giving up light features - the sound quality seems like it should be a lot better, closer to the hatch rest products. I was pretty unhappy at how tinny the Mini sounded.

White noise relieves anxiety in older dog

I have a golden retriever that has high anxiety with loud or startling noises. I put the white noise on in the walk in closet and she’ll spend her day in there free of anxiety. She’ll come out off and on to check on us and maybe play. She’s 11 years old. Has been a life saver.

Great device crappy app

I love the actual device but the app is terrible. I pay for the monthly subscription and it doesn’t let me listen to half of the subscription sounds.
