For me riding indoors is an opportunity to get a head start on all the training. It’s freedom to ride regardless of the weather, regardless of the situations in the outside world. I can ride with my friend Keita from Japan. Racing is phenomenal. The H3 is the right call for me. The only call. So in depth while remaining easy and intuitive. Very accurate and streamlined. 10/10. Thank you Saris.

I had been riding a Cycleops fluid trainer for years. It worked but everyone in the house knew when I was riding. Also had to make sure the rear tire was pumped up and the resistance roller was touching.
The H3 is unreal. Its fluid, its "silent" in comparison - I can watch a movie/show/workout and not have to use headphones to hear it. Coasting is like coasting on a road where your speed stays up. It also connects with my Garmin watch and my old PowerTap head unit when I'm not using an app like Zwift.
It was pretty easy to set up with relative beginner skills.
Its not an inexpensive purchase, but its been a great one so far.

I own a Gen1 H1 smart trainer and I simply love it. I use it 3-4 days a week riding on ZWIFT and the realism brought to my ZWIFT sessions by using the H1 is un-measurable in my opinion. I can only imagine what riding on the newer H3 would be like

Good product but...

Good product. Low noise level. Quiet fast on power change with Zwift but lot of Bluetooth dropouts with IOS. I bought an Apple TV 4K which a 5.0 Bluetooth.

Thanks for the feedback.

Often it is worth checking to see if there has been a recent update to the app you were using, or the tablet/smart phone that you use to control your trainer. Updates to the operating system can often cause issues with apps that have yet to be updated. If you do see that your OS or app recently updated, that is likely the cause of the dropouts, but the best way to check is by doing the following:

1. On your tablet or smartphone, close out of all other programs that might be pairing to the trainer
2. Download the Saris app from iTunes of GooglePlay
3. Connect your trainer to the app and check for a firmware update
4. Once firmware is confirmed up to date, run a calibration on the trainer
5. If calibration is successful, test the trainer’s functionality using erg mode

If your trainer is able to calibrate and does not drop out in erg mode, that suggests that the trainer is communicating with your tablet or smart phone as expected and indicates that there might be an issue with the app you were using when the dropouts occurred.

If your trainer is dropping out on multiple apps or across multiple devices, please contact our customer support team as this indicates that there may be an underlying issue with the hardware.

H3 Direct Drive Trainer

I had a 2017 Hammer Direct Drive trainer and upgraded to the H3 based on the fact that it was supposed to be quieter... It is. My wife commented immediately. The Hammer still is great, but the H3 is next level.
