I bought this about a month ago. I am happy with my decision with H3 now. It was a big decision because of the $$$$. I started my training with H3 and I started to see improvement.

I bought an H3 a month ago to upgrade from a Cycleops fluid trainer (not smart). This has made a difference in my training. My Rouvy rides are much more realistic and interesting when the slope changes including when going down. The trainer is very stable. It is also more silent. I was able to install my spare bike that does not have a power meter. Consequently, I spend more time training. Note that it was easy to set up, calibrate and connect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After putting off buying an interactive trainer, Covid shut down spin class so I finally acquiesced.
No regrets, none!
Works you like a demon. I use the Rouvy app and I have reached a couple new achievements.
If you are hung up on the cost, just figure your ROI vs whatever you were doing before,
Do yourself a favor, buy the mat, wheel block and sweat guard at the same time.

Very Good Smart Trainer

Yesterday, I was able to pick up my Saris H3 Direct Drive Smart Trainer and am vert happy with the product. I love the way it feel that I feel like I am riding in real life without dealing with inclement weather conditions. I am definitely planning to use it more often, especially being in the Pacific NW!

Good product - a bit noisy / how to maintain?

Really happy with the product. Great support for rides, smooth transitions and easy to mount bike on and off.
So why not 5 stars? A bit noisier than expected and also, I cant find any good maintenance videos (to get rid of the noise) online - something I think Saris should provide.
Overall, great purchase!

I have owned Wahoo KICKR trainers for the past four years. They always had a problem with lag with the Bluetooth signal and would also be slightly noisy. So after my KiCKR kicked the bucket, I bought a Saris H3. All I can say is WOW! This trainer looks like an artist made it, and it is super quiet. I like the fact that the Bluetooth is spot on, the support legs collapse into the trainer, and integrated handle make it easy to carry.

It's a huge upgrade from my wheel on trainer. It is smooth, responds to even small wattage changes instantly, and with a little fine tuning in my ap it feels like I'm out on the road.
