I have had the H3 for only about a week now. But so far, I love everything about it. Not a single problem for the moment. Rock solid build quality and smooth riding feeling. Connects great to Zwift.
Pros: Stable
Cons: Heavy

Truly Outstanding!!

I bought an original (then Cycleops) Hammer in late 2016 and rode it constantly since, logging roughly 5,000 virtual miles on it with very few hiccups along the way, it was an outstanding trainer, and had my last ride on it less than 24 hours ago, before sending it off to a friend who needed an upgraded trainer.
I just finished my first ride on my new Saris H3, and it is somehow head and shoulders above what was already a world class trainer. The efforts in noise reduction are very apparent, it is truly difficult to determine trainer noise from static bike noise. Turn on your fan, and this fades into the background entirely, it is silent. Even the spin down freewheeling is noticeably reduced in volume. Performance is incredible and silky smooth. Readings are bang on. Considering the added cost of alternatives, and the truly marginal differences between them, the H3 is a case closed, done deal.
American made, great support, best in class product.

H3 is the finest indoor trainer ever built

I use my Saris H3 for erg mode training in a popular training specific app, and for Sim mode riding with two other popular apps.
The way that changes in power or resistance is delivered by the Saris H3 is very smooth and realistic. This is important to me because many years ago, I tore the meniscus in both of my knees.
My Saris H3 simply feels exactly like riding my bike out on the road, and it's nearly silent as well! A truly smart Smart Trainer! Thanks Saris!

Makes workouts "easy"

I typically use Trainerroad while on the trainer, this product makes it easy as I can set it to erg mode and not have to worry about matching power targets and can enjoy an audio book or tv show without worrying about keeping power on target. I have compared this to other power meters I own and they are well within the +/- 2% of each other. Also, this thing is super quiet, which is awesome as it does not bother my wife (or more importantly my new born daughter). The only drawback I have is the lag in power adjusting to target wattage which is somewhere around 10 seconds (which may be TR software instead of the trainer itself).

Sturdy, sleek - works great!

I bought this in January 2020 and connected it to Zwift - best idea ever for quick training sessions and rainy days (or quarantine!) It takes a little research to get everything connected the first time but once you are set up, it's very convenient and great for connecting Training Peaks workouts so you can easily follow along instructions for that specific work out. Sleek and sturdy - it's a work horse.

Good RoadFeel, Easy to Setup

Great road feel versus my old fluid-trainer. I find that the the power changes to be very realistic without having much lag(in Zwift). The only experience I find to be 'problematic" is when I attempt to ride out of the saddle - I am unable to simulate anything that I would do outdoors in regards to standing, but it doesn't loose points because this. Most smart trainer's that I was able to test (before purchasing) had the same short-coming. The trainer has yet to give me any trouble and I hope its reliable for a very long time to come. Easy setup and it even included a rear cassette lucky it matched my setup on bike.

Love this trainer!!!

Bought this a couple months ago for the ugly “break up” season in Alaska. The hubs and I rode it so much, and finally got tired of waiting for each other to get off the bike that we now own two! They’re quiet, compact, and so easy to use. They connected to our smart devices and smart riding apps with ease. We even got our 11 year old into it! I honestly don’t have any complaints about the trainer. I LOVE being able to hop on my bike whenever I want even if it’s just for a quick ride. thank you Saris for making indoor training so much fun!

So good, I bought 2!

The recent quarantine forced me into the home-trainer market to get ready for my hill-laden Half-Ironman 70.3 later this year. I knew that I wanted to head for the best quality I could afford and this had popped up on a number of review websites as a good contender to some of the other brands out there. Believe it or not - the biggest factor in me choosing the Saris H3 was the fact that it has a handle!
That handle was the right decision - I live in an apartment with a family full of pets and children. Leaving a bike permanently out in the open was not an option for me. This moves into and out of the bike-closet daily, and I can say that with the collapsing legs it is able to disappear without being in the way. It does weigh far more than you'd expect, but that leads to my next point...
The stability of this trainer is excellent. I typically use this to train on hills using Rouvy courses with > 10% incline, and even out-of-the-saddle, I never feel like I'm going to topple over. It's nearly silent when doing ERG based workouts off of TrainingPeaks (thanks 80/20 Endurance!) with only my drive-train making noise. I'll say that the only time that noise becomes an issue is when I'm heading down a -8% gradient section in my hardest gear trying to make up time. But in a sense that's the perfect time for noise, since it usually encourages my kids to look my way and cheer me on!
Firmware upgrades were easy on the Saris app, calibration was fast, and pairing this is never an issue (whether to my laptop, my phone, or any other device).
My experience went so well - my wife actually joined me on Rouvy and picked up her own Saris H3! With the two of us riding side-by-side, the sound levels are still quieter than just about any other piece of equipment we own!
Thanks for the quality product!
