I was so excited to get these fry pans! I opened and immediately washed them (by hand), then made dinner in the large one. Only after I cleaned up from that did I notice that all three pans (the two I had not used) had rubbed scrapes on the inside cooking surface (the liught has to catch it right or you can't see it) and all three were not quite round - they were all slightly dented in on one side. I'm sure the pans will be useable, but I didn't order and pay for returned or damaged goods. I paid for new. Hence my 3 star review. If not for that, they would have received 5 stars plus, because the weight, the balance, the even heat transfer, the non-stick quality - all are excellent! I will buy more Zwilling cookware, but not from their online sight. I'll have to see it in person before I pony up the cash from here on out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the three piece set. Perfect sizes for a variety of jobs. I first looked into a new purchase because my 10 year old Calphalon set is wearing out. I had my eye on this specific series because of the excellent review/rating they received by Consumer Reports. I bought them because of the sell price. I've already used them and so far, the quick heating, even browning, and easy for release had lived up to expectations. My next purchase will be pots and sauce pans.

I really like these frying pans. They are light enough to lift (for an elderly lady with arthritis) and yet heavy enough not to fly off the burner in the middle of cooking. They are easy to clean and work great for my blind husband since he does not need to add fat. He said it was easy to fry his eggs and french toast (without needing fat or oil).
