I have been wanting one for a long time but was always fearful of taking a chance on buying it because I am really not the greatest cook. Every time I use it now my confidence grows. I never knew that having the proper cookware makes all the difference in the world! I am now looking at other items in the Staub collection to add to my kitchen.

Great size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the size, though would’ve loved it in red which was sold out & had to get white. It came with a tiny scratch, don’t know if it’ll be a hassle to exchange as I already threw the box 2 days ago & just using it today for the 1st time.

The narrower footprint and tall sides were perfect for baking high hydration bread; my loaves—boules—were taller and fuller. It also is a good stock pot for making stews and soups. You do not have to watch like a hawk and add extra water if you leave the lid on when using the cocotte for those reasons. It is going to be one of the heavily used things in my kitchen.

I am so happy I went with the tall cocotte. It holds so much more than the regular one. Worth every additional penny!
Also, while I really like the other colors, the white is simply timeless and will look for the years and trends to come!

I love this pot. It’s the best one I’ve ever bought. Power saving when I cook soup, are quick and fragrance. Fried steak is crispy on the surface and tender on the inside without spilling the oil. I will buy one more another size and I’ve recommended it to my friends.

New to the sustainable pot world

When I received it I wished I had purchased a wider base pot but since it is evenly cooks everything it has been stewing the ingredients evenly the way I wanted. So excited to cook more with it!

We bought two of these during the holiday sale. These pots are great and last forever. Of all the cast iron products we tried, these last and hold out the best! If you can get these on sale, then that's an added bonus.
