Good Starter Set

These three knives can handle most kitchen tasks. The chef knife is your work horse, the utility is perfect for oranges and tomatoes and the parer does my little chores like peeling apples or coring strawberries.

For a starter set that will not break the bank, this is the one! Along with the great Henckels name, even though they are stamped, not forged knives, they are lightweight & easy to use.

I would definitely recommend this 3 piece set as an intro into the set. It provides the most basic knives needed for the kitchen. This allowed me to get an idea of what else I wanted to add without buying the whole set. Great quality for the value!

although they are a little lighter than i usually like these are good extra knives to have. The handle is comfortable and the blades cut well. Cant' beat the price
