Not happy with quality of coating

Like another reviewer, my 8 “ pan has bubbles all around the margin and the 10” pan has chipped. It certainly didn’t hold up as I expected to and I am disappointed in the purchase. I have an all clad 12 “ that has held up better and I’m happy with so I will try that instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great pan

We needed to replace our breakfast pan. This one is awesome. The only reason I removed a star is it arrived a little scuffed and I expected it to be in top shape. We just got it so not sure how the pan will stand the test of time yet.

consumers: don’t use metal utensils on inside!

even though you claim that the non-stick protection can tolerate metal utensils,
my experience is different: my 10” non stick Henckles fry pan (which i had already purchased on Amazon) now has tiny scratches on the inside, after using my stainless steel spatula a few times..., so now I only use my bamboo utensils. If I were Henckles, i would recommend to consumers to NOT use metal utensils, (unless they don't mind scratches...) I do mind scratches and now I wished I had been alerted! thank you!

Great nonstick

I absolutely love my Italian made Madura fry pan. This five layer nonstick fry pan is amazing and really releases the food so well. It can get a nice sear on meat which is not always something you can get with nonsticks. It has a great weight to it, and I love that the pan doesn’t have rivets. I use this everyday, I love the size of the 8” and it still looks like new after owning it for two years. I loved it so much, I bought this for my friend and she loves it too.

It is are exceptionally durable and has innovative 3-layer DuraSlide granite nonstick coating, 40 times more durable than traditional PTFE coatings and PFOA-free.
Perfect for egg frying and omelettes, pancakes, and small size for stir frying food too. It is metal utensils safe for it's a unique plasma primer base provides the ultimate scratch resistance.
Sturdy forged aluminum offers excellent heat distribution and retention for perfect searing, browning and even cooking. Handle is ergonomically design, and stays cool. Modura Plus are Dishwasher safe too, easy cleanup and durability.

What is great about this set is well priced, it included a universal lid that fits to every pots you have in your kitchen and most importantly it fits to all of these 3 fry pans.

All of my fry pan needs in one set! I just love these pans and they come with a universal lid so you have a lid for each pan, which is extremely useful when so many do not come with lids. I love the coating and the fact that you can use metal utinsels. I don't use metal utensils but I have family members that dont think about that and just grab the first utensil they see. They brown and fry like a cast iron pan and that makes me happy...no weight!! Love these
