Great kettle...good buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The black matte finish stainless steel kettle is a joy to look at and use. It is one of the fee kettles that had a fully stainless steel interior. It is a tad pricey and hence four stars. The stainless steel interior comes with a limescale filter that will definitely help with its lifespan. The 360 degree plastic base is easy to move and has an indent to put the cord away if it doesn't need to be plugged in. It has a soft-opening lid, which I cannot stress on how much of a game-changer it is. The last kettle I owned had a very hard lid and I often had to slam on it. It has an automatic switch off button, which can also be manually turned off. The outer plastic body ensures that the kettle is cool to the human touch even with boiling water inside. Best of all, Zwilling offers a 5-year warranty.

Leaked from the bottom!

I got this kettle and filled the kettle up with water the first time, i noticed that there were a pile of water leaking from the bottom and also the button. I then I tried multiple times time and it still leaked from the bottom! This is a huge design flaw!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

beautiful, quiet, functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the kettle is sleek— and even though the capacity is great, the body of the kettle doesn’t look bulky at all. the water boils fast and there’s no strange tastes or smells. we use ours to boil pasta water before adding it to the pot to save time and energy. after a lot of research, i’m happy with this product and i’d recommend it.

Excellent heat up time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought for the amount of water it can take, the heat-up time for boiling water is super quick. Felt shorter than a minute, honestly. The exterior does get a bit warm when it boils, but not hot enough to burn me. Although, you have to be careful with where you place it on the counter because if you reach over it while it's heating up you could accidentally touch the steam. The manual instructions are very clear and simple enough to comprehend. Otherwise, it looks great, it's functional, and it's easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Elegant with a buff black finish, this kettle brings water to a boil quickly with verve and elan. Every surface speaks uncompromising quality. The base contains the power cable so the pitcher lifts free of any encumbrance. Thoughtfull and sturdy design throughout.

Nice kettle could be a little more refined

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to replace a Breville kettle that had finally died after 8 years of daily use (I’m British and I drink a LOT of tea!) I like that it is matte black which is a nice change after the shiny brushed aluminum though I expect it will still show finger prints but maybe not so easily. It feels sturdy. The lid opens smoothly with no noise though you do have to give the button a FIRM push. When closing the lid it feels clunky and it does make a fairly loud noise. The button to turn on feels good and lights up the brand logo to show that it is on. The boil is quieter than my Breville. When the boil is done there is no bell or ring sound - just the snap of the button going back to the off position. The water pours out nicely - not too fast but not painfully slowly. The best thing about this kettle is that there is no visible heating element so cleaning it will be a breeze. There is a little round hole on the inside right at the top - I’m not sure what it’s for but I’m hoping it doesn’t fill the outer cavity with condensation and cause problems. There is not window so you cannot see from the outside how much water there is inside. This is not an issue for me but might be for some. Hopefully I will get just as long from this kettle as the Breville. Fingers crossed!
