Looks Beautiful, Sticks Terribly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited about this skillet. We received it as a wedding gift and I was hoping that I could add it to my "everyday use" items. Unfortunately the first use, food stuck TERRIBLY to the pan after reading and following care and cooking instructions. It takes intense elbow grease to clean after, and has done this every time we've used it. We've used it 5-6 times over the past 3 months and we have the same experience no matter what we're cooking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very pleased with my 11 inch traditional deep cast iron skillet. I had no idea what I was missing! It has become my go to skillet for cooking proteins, preparing one dish meals, and even making decadent desserts. I didn’t realize how versatile a cast iron skillet could be.
