Cast iron without the headaches

This 10" grill pan is perfect for me as I hate to use our big grill for just myself. I've used it three times since it arrived and like all Staub its wonderful. The steak was perfect, nice grill lines, asparagus tender and charred, peppers, tomatoes and onions were even better than doing them on the big grill and were great in the pasta sauce. Best of all it is so much easier to clean than my enameled perforated grill pan. Staub is a dream come true if you love cast iron, but don't like all the fuss that goes with it. And its gorgeous!!!

Wanted a quality stove top grill for small meals. I've done steaks, chicken breasts, vegetables, etc. Not only is this a great, evenly heated cooking surface, it's easy-to-use and clean. Reviews about this grill stated that it was difficult to clean. I have not encountered this, using a cast-iron cleaning brush and hot water it cleans up nicely. Highly recommend this grill and the Staub brand in general.

It is so nice not to have to fire up the backyard grill for one burger or other meal. Works really well. I made a mistake and didn't pat dry my pork - had a sticky marinade, and it burnt badly. Came clean with salt and water with no damage.

Perfect Indoor Grilling

This is an awesome alternative to outdoor grilling and extremely beautiful. Staub is known for it's amazing colors, which are durable as well as beautiful. But the secret to grilling is getting your pan very hot which is best acheived with cast iron. The black interior browns incredibly well and still releases the food.
I love the size of this pan, perfect for four burgers. It fits perfectly on my glass cooktop, no worries about scratching the surface.
When it's warm enough, I can take it outside and use it on my grill for vegetables. Perfect every time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There, I said it! I’ve collected and put to high use cocettes and have come to prefer them over anything else. Totally makes cooking more enjoyable! The dark blue is a theme in my kitchen and I love it! Super excited for the grill for when it’s way too windy to grill out, or with snow. I’m going to try spatchcock chicken pretty soon. Great product that is definitely heirloom quality.

Grill year-round!

This pan makes me feel like it is summer while there is snow on the ground outside because I can enjoy delicious grilled meat all year-round! Even in the middle of the summer, I will break with pan out to grill the vegetables I get from the Farmer's Market so that they don't fall through grill grates. I love that this pan is naturally non-stick and doesn't need special treatment like normal cast iron. The handles are nice and wide to make it easy to maneuver.
