decent set of knives for a beginner or if lots of different people will use them. We have a small kitchen at our office and I used to bring a good knife once in a while but it was a hassle to transport. I needed something that anyone could use, didn't need much care or sharpening and did what it needed to do. These pieces were great sizes and the price was perfect. Covered all the needs.

On the road again

Work well in our RV. Fine serrated edge on all 3 knives, never need sharpening. Comfortable handle. Certainly not the same quality of our Henckels knives in our home.

The subtle serration on the blades of Silvercap starter set is something to be aware of when you are cutting. Though it will never destroy the food you are cutting, it will take some getting used to if you've only ever used a straight edged knife. Other than that, the handles are comfortable and these knives are really durable for being of the stamped variety.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great starter set

Great essential starter set that has the key knives anyone would need in the kitchen or dorm room. Also you don’t have to worry about sharpening these knives with the mircro-serration of the blades.

Yes budget friendly but nice cutting edges. Perfect for a newbie chef or a college kids new apartment. The handle is comfortable too.

Nice starter set, comes with all three knives that chefs say you need. All of the blades are serrated so there’s no edge maintenance! Perfect for someone that is just getting into cooking or someone who might be on a budget that just need some good knives to get the job done.

Good trio to get you started on your cooking adventures. The micro serration is perfect for you if you are not inclined to sharpen or hone your knives! The contour of the handle makes this set comfortable to hold. the silver cap is a nice accent.
