Nice flatware

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally decided to replace my 50-year-old Oneida flatware and have been looking all over for flatware that has substantial knives but won’t cost me a fortune. I don’t like knives with very flat handles. I also don’t like flatware with handles that are so heavy that they fall off the plates. This set fit the bill. I can wrap my hand around the knife handle, and the rest of the silverware doesn’t slide off the plate when I’m transporting it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All the utensils have a great feel and weight to them. The knives were especially heavy, which I prefer. Love the high shine of the 18/10 stainless steel. These are exactly what I was looking for!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I would expect from Henckels. The Silvano flatware is both nice looking and sturdy flatware. Some flatware you can purchase in the store feels flimsy. Not this set. Won't have to worry about spoons bending. The flatware is longer than my previous Oneida flatware, and I like that. Fork tines are considerably narrower, so doesn't hold a much food; that's the only drawback.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The grove in the handle fits snuggly on your finger. The length and size is spot on. Most importantly to me, the big spoon is a nice size with deep curve. Love this set!

I love the simplicity of the pattern. Fair price for the quality. It's hard to buy flatware site unseen. I was expecting the flatware to feel heavier and a little more sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This flatware is nice. I wanted 18/10 because I wanted a solid feeling set of flatware. This set, although pretty, was lighter than I expected. It will do, and I do like the flatware. They just don’t make anything the way they used to.
