[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this set for work. So the wood block is not necessary for me, but seems well made. Knives are excellently made and feel great in the hand. Could ask for much more. Hopefully they will last me for years to come in a professional kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing sharpness cuts easily and accurately . Be careful removing plastic when unboxing. My wife actually got a minor cut unpacking the set.
Replaced an older knife set and we love this new set. I would recommend to anyone looking for great cutting implements.
