One of the knifes got rust spots on it after 4 days of use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Carbon steel can rust in certain conditions. To prevent this and other corrosion, we recommend hand washing and promptly and thoroughly drying the knives before storing. You can remove existing rust with a cookware cleaner like Bar Keepers Friend or a rust eraser from our carbon steel care kit.

Purchased these Kimball Edition blade profiles to expand our Henckel Classic set at the mountain cabin. Essential knives for everyday food prep: chopping, slicing and dicing with the cook's knife; slicing bagels, tomatoes and sandwiches with the serrated prep; and the paring knife is ideal for small, detailed tasks.
